[PROPOSAL] Migrate to gitbox on January, 9th

Jean-Baptiste Onofré
Hi,

as mentioned in the other thread, and in order to give visibility to
everyone, I would like to do the move to gitbox on January, 9th.

Nothing change: I already the migration on several other projects
without problem.

Just after the migration, I will update scm section in the pom and
update Jenkins.

From a committer perspective, the only thing to change is to update git
remote to gitbox.

So, without objection, I will do the move on January, 9th (or if you
think we can do it before, please let me know as I'm ready).

Thanks,
Regards
JB

I forgot to ask this on the other thread. Will that affect any of the
pending Pull Requests on the various projects?

This shouldn't affect your date. I just want to understand if we need
to do anything about them.

Re: [PROPOSAL] Migrate to gitbox on January, 9th

Robbie Gemmell
The initial/main step looks to have been performed already, with repo
migration completed by Infra (via
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-17607 for later
reference).

Using the old git-wip-us URLs has stopped working currently (the URLs
will eventually be redirected in the forced migrations next month) so
checkouts will need their remotes updated to reference gitbox instead
(or alternatively github, see https://gitbox.apache.org/ for more
committer details), which can be done by simple edit of .git/config or
probably some other way using git-remote.

I updated the ActiveMQ urls in Jenkins for 5.x but the other projects still
need to be updated.

Repositories have been moved by INFRA.

I'm now updating the scm location where I can.

clebertsuconic
The comitts now are coming to the dev list instead of the commit list.

Anyone know how to fix it ?

Jean-Baptiste Onofré
Hi Clebert,

We have to create a Jira for INFRA to fix.

I will do that.

I actually thought those messages were from commits.  They are the github
comments.
